Wired magazine has an interview with director and sketch comedy guru David Wain up at their website. It's to commemorate the third season of Wain's web series, Wainy Days, which just wrapped up on Monday with "Angel."
You probably know Wain from his work with the great 1990s sketch comedy group The State. Since then, he's been busy directing excellent comedies (the too-brilliant Wet Hot American Summer and the less-brilliant-but-still-good The Ten). In November, his third film, Role Models, comes out. It looks pretty great, and is one of the only movies I'm really looking forward to for the remainder of the year.
No mention of that long-rumored State reunion or the DVD release in the interview, but Wainy Days is really funny and worth checking out.
