New Norm MacDonald Reality Show Coming to F/X
No one's heard much from comedian Norm MacDonald in the last few years (unless you count his brilliant, misunderstood set at the Comedy Central Roast of Bob Saget last summer). Well, it turns out he's got a faux-reality show in development at F/X that sounds pretty great -- meaning it's probably destined for cancellation.
In a recent interview with Express Milwaukee, MacDonald shares his views about stand-up and gives several insights into his approach to comedy. At the end of the interview, he makes mention of The Norm MacDonald Reality Show, a new show he's making for F/X where he plays a version of himself willing to do anything to get famous again. It sounds dark and subversive and hilarious, much like the majority of MacDonald's comedy and just about every joke he did on "Weekend Update."
MacDonald's last foray into television was the sitcom The Norm Show in the late '90s (with Artie Lange). Though that show stayed on for two seasons, it's hard to find anyone -- including MacDonald -- that really liked it. This new show sounds much, much better, and being on F/X means there's less pressure to draw huge numbers. Heck, Dirt stayed on for two seasons. (via Videogum)

Clearly Artie is the one that deserves a show. I would pay just to see what he eats in one day.
His last name is spelled MacDonald.
Actually Norm Macdonald’s last foray into television was “A Minute with Stan Hooper” which premiered on the FOX network in 2003 and was canceled after six episodes
