Louis C.K. also picked up nominations for writing and editing (of all things) for his stand-up special Live at the Beacon Theater. They're just throwing Emmy nominations at that guy. No one deserves it more.
Nice to see Bill Hader being recognized for his work on Saturday Night Live for the first time, too. The fact that that show has been picking up acting nominations for the last couple of years is further evidence of just how strong the cast is these days. Kudos to the academy, too, for recognizing what were arguably the three strongest guest hosts on SNL this season; at least two of those shows (the ones hosted by former cast members) were the season's best.
