Comedy Central hosted its second Comedy Awards in April 2012, honoring the best in film and television comedy, as well as stand-up comedy specials and tours. A new category, honoring the best "club comedian," was been added for the 2012 awards.
The Second Annual Comedy Awards took place in New York City on Saturday, April 28, and premiered on Sunday, May 6 on Comedy Central.
